Founded in 1922, Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) is the largest and oldest technological university in Lithuania and one of the largest in the Baltic States. Several projects financed by EU, Lithuanian Government or industrial companies are generated each year. Innovative learning methods, such as project-based learning, case study, e-learning, coaching and mentoring, practice, internships, and visits to textile and clothing factories, are used in KTU. IDEC has been active the last 20 years in the field of EU projects. It has long experience in European policies regarding lifelong learning and in particular EQF, ECVET, Europass, EQAVET, validation of non-formal and informal learning, work-based learning & apprenticeship schemes and in national reforms of education and training systems.

University of West Attica established in 2018. It is the result of the merge of Piraeus University of Applied Sciences and Athens University of Applied Sciences. The Water Footprint Network is an international non-profit partner organisation based in the Netherlands that has as mission to promote fair and smart use of freshwater resources worldwide, using the water footprint concept. Its partners range from individual academics researching a wide variety of water footprint related topics, to public and private organisations who work with the water footprint concept and share their learnings with one another. Insights from science and practice are translated to online tools, educational materials and more to raise awareness and build capacity The WFN has a long-standing reputation on awareness raising, capacity building and knowledge dissemination around water footprints of both consumers and producers. For consumers, the WFN built e.g. AquaPath online tool to empower European citizens to use water more responsibly (https://www.up2europe.eu/european/projects/aquapath_106104.html). Lithuanian Apparel and Textile Association plays an important role in Lithuanian economy. Around 1.000 textile and clothing production companies employing 27.000 people are operating in Lithuania today. Lithuanian Apparel and Textile Industry Association (LATIA) is a private business association representing interests of majority of Lithuanian apparel, textile and leather products manufacturers, traders and service companies. It was established in 1991. LATIA activities are regulated by the associations’ law of the Rep. of Lithuania. LATIA is registered under national law. LATIA unites more than 130 member companies representing around 85 percent of the total employment in the sector LATIA has years of experience in international and national project handling as well as supporting and helping members to adapt to the changing market conditions and requirements by organising training, informational campaigns, etc.
